Sept. 1 Current students must be registered for the Fall Semester
Sept. 11 Twelve Week Fall Semester begins for private lessons/group classes this week
Oct. 1 Student Learning Agreements must be signed and returned
Oct. 15 Sign up deadline for recitals
Nov. 7 Marquardt Performance at 3:50 PM
Nov. 20 Thanksgiving Break: no private lessons/group classes this week
Dec. 7 Ensemble Concert at 5:30 PM
Dec. 7 Christmas Recital at 7:00 PM
Dec. 11 -Jan. 21 Winter Break: virtual and face-to-face lessons are strongly encouraged during break

Jan. 1 Current students must notify the Music Prep Director if they are discontinuing lessons for the Winter Semester
Jan. 22 Twelve Week Winter Semester begins for private lessons/group classes this week
Feb. 16 Students not participating in an outside evaluation program will be automatically registered for the Music Prep Evaluation Program
Feb. 29 Themed Recitals at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM
March 17 - 23 MBU’s Spring Break - No Music Prep Lessons or Classes
April 1 Current students must notify the Music Prep Director if they are discontinuing lessons for the Spring Semester
April 1 Deadline for submitting Music Prep Evaluation Materials
April 8 Themed Recitals at 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM
April 18 Ensemble Concert at 5:30 PM
April 18 Themed Recital at 7:00 PM
April 21 Last day of the Winter Semester

April 24 Six Week Spring Semester begins for private lessons
April 25 Themed Recital at 5:30 PM
April 25 Awards Night for the Fall and Winter Semesters (must RSVP) at 7:00 PM
May 11 Senior Recitals - Times and Performers TBA
June 1 Last day of the Spring Semester - students may arrange lessons with their teacher June - August
